Wales Air Ambulance is an all Wales Charity providing critical care 24 hours a day to those suffering a life threatening illness or injury.
Since launching in 2001, they have attended over 52,000 missions, and behind each of those missions are human stories. Their colleagues, families, friends, and loved ones are impacted.
We are proud to help keep their helicopters in the air and their rapid response vehicles on the road, saving lives every day. You can help them too!

Advanced Critical Care
The highly skilled crew on board can carry out medical procedures which would usually only be available in a hospital setting.
Fleet
Wales Air Ambulance have four H145 helicopters plus one reserve, which are based at Caernarfon, Cardiff, Dafan, and Welshpool.
Making A Difference
Providing a range of critical care functions, Wales Air Ambulance starts treatment before arriving at the hospital.
Monitoring
Every 999 call in Wales is monitored by a Wales Air Ambulance Critical Care Practitioners, looking to identify patients in need of their care.
Pre Hospital Care
Critical Care Teams are made up of a mixture of Critical Care Consultants and Critical Care Practitioners.
Support
Patients who receive care from Wales Air Ambulance continue to receive support through their journey of recovery.
